You’ll join one of the UK’s leading Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering consultancies, working alongside experienced engineers and geologists on projects spanning rail, infrastructure, commercial developments and public sector schemes.

As a Graduate Engineering Geologist, you will support the delivery of geotechnical and ground engineering projects while developing your technical and professional expertise. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with desk studies and interpretative reporting
• Supporting ground investigations and site activities
• Contributing to ground models and geotechnical assessments
• Assisting with geotechnical design solutions
• Supporting Preliminary Risk Assessments
• Maintaining site records and project documentation
• Participating in site visits and client meetings
• Working closely with civil, structural and geotechnical teams
• Supporting project delivery across a variety of sectors

You may be a recent graduate or someone with a year or two of industry experience looking for the next step in your Engineering Geology career. Your background may include:

• A degree in Geology or a related discipline
• Ground investigation experience
• Geotechnical or geological reporting
• Site work and data collection
• Ground modelling and geotechnical assessments
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine interest in infrastructure and ground engineering projects
• An MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or a related subject would be beneficial, but it’s not essential. A full UK driving licence is required due to the site-based nature of the role.
