Overview
Role:
Engineer/Technical Coordinator
Location:
Leeds/West Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + package and bonuses
Responsibilities- Manage handover and legal transfer of infrastructure (roads, sewers, and open spaces) from local authorities or utility companies.
- Section Agreements: manage legal agreements, primarily focusing on Section 38 (roads), Section 278 (highway modifications), and Section 104 (sewers).
- Defect Resolution: identify and coordinate remedial works or maintenance to bring infrastructure up to adoptable standards.
- Stakeholder Management: liaise with build teams, consultants, solicitors, and management companies to transfer estate areas.
- Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of UK adoption legislation, Section Agreements, and land transfer processes. - Qualifications:
Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
