Site Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure scheme in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a high-profile project, working with a leading civil engineering contractor.

Key responsibilities

* Setting out and surveying for highways and civil engineering works.

* Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.

* Managing QA documentation, including ITPs, inspections and as-built records.

* Producing and maintaining accurate site records.

* Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the client.

* Monitoring progress and reporting any technical issues.

* Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with project requirements.

* Assisting with planning and coordinating daily site activities.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil engineering projects.

* Strong setting out experience using Leica or Trimble equipment.

* Good understanding of QA procedures and site documentation.

* Competent using AutoCAD and interpreting engineering drawings.

* CSCS card as a minimum.

* HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
