Mechanical Assembly Engineer

A world-renowned Machinery Design Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Engineer to join their growing department.

This company specialises in the design of Special Purpose Machinery for a niche sector on a global scale.

The successful Mechanical Assembly Engineer will be very practical and able to assemble, test, calibrate and install a wide range of complex systems. This includes precision components and delicate assemblies through to large electro‑mechanical instrumentation. The work will be a healthy blend of new products and refurb work for a wide range of customers.

The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Assembly Engineer with good electrical/knowledge and excellent hands‑on skills – either in industry or their spare time (engineering hobbyist, repairing cars, bikes, machines etc.).

• Apprentice trained / time‑served Mechanical Engineer (or similar)
• Precision mechanical assembly
• Electrical/Electronic experience (wiring, soldering, fault finding etc.)
• Passion for engineering / engineering hobbyist!
