Key Responsibilities Time Studies for different operations on the shop floor Create Routings for different product types or product families Support Operations Planner with releasing Works Orders and ensuring all documentation has been uploaded correctly in MRP / SharePoint. Work with Contracts, Quality and Engineering to ensure that the technical documentation is correct and updated when required Ensure compliance with Safety, Environmental and Regulatory Requirements in all industrial activities Continually review and update data input in MRP (logins on jobs, operation confirmations) Conduct root cause analysis using problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and productivity. Monitor process performance and recommend improvements. Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions. Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Beneficials Skills /
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Over 2 years' experience in process engineering in manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience of working with switch gear / LV / HV products
Experience with process validation and statistical process control (SPC). Excellent I.T. skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience working with ERP / MRP systems Flexibility to adapt to change Good attention to detail Ability to work to strict timelines Good interpersonal skills with a 'can-do' attitude Additional Details:
