Estimator – Commercial HVAC, M&E & Heat Pumps

Contract (Outside IR35) OR Permanent - Hybrid

Our client, a well-established Building Services contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator to support the delivery of commercial and industrial HVAC, Heat Pumps, M&E, and low-carbon heating projects.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Price labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor packages
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams
• Support project handovers and pre-construction activities

• Proven estimating experience within Commercial HVAC and M&E projects
• Knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps and low-carbon heating systems
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Strong commercial awareness and tendering experience
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software

• HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts
• Building Services or HVAC contracting background
• CSCS Card

• Permanent or Outside IR35 contract options
• Involvement in innovative renewable and low-carbon projects
• Strong pipeline of commercial and industrial work
• Excellent long-term career prospects
