- Deliver flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and catchment investigations
- Evaluate flood alleviation options, nature-based solutions, and resilience measures
- Work across river, surface water, sewer, and integrated catchment systems
- Integrate modelling outputs with GIS, asset data, monitoring information, and wider spatial datasets
- Support major programmes focused on flood risk management, drainage strategy, wastewater resilience, and climate adaptation
- Translate complex modelling results into clear recommendations for clients and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Contribute to innovative approaches including digital twins, automation, real-time data, and emerging analytical techniques
- Support bids, business development, and client engagement
- Strong experience in flood risk, drainage, hydraulic, or hydrological modelling
- Strong experience with one or more industry-standard modelling platforms
- Good understanding of hydrology, hydraulic processes, and flood risk management
- Experience delivering flood risk assessments, drainage studies, or catchment investigations
- Strong GIS and spatial data analysis skills
- Ability to interpret complex modelling outputs and communicate findings clearly
- Experience managing projects and delivering high-quality technical outputs
- Knowledge of UK flood risk policy, regulatory frameworks, and industry guidance
- Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills
- Digital twins, automation, scripting, or data analytics
- Integrating modelling with monitoring, remote sensing, or geospatial data
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership
- Nature-based solutions and catchment-scale flood resilience
- Move beyond traditional flood modelling and work at the forefront of flood risk intelligence and catchment resilience
- Work on high-impact projects for water companies, local authorities, infrastructure clients, and regulators
- Combine technical modelling with GIS, digital innovation, and strategic decision-making
- Opportunity to influence how major organisations understand and manage flood risk
- Join a growing team where innovation and new ideas are actively encouraged
- Develop your career within a specialist consultancy working across environmental and infrastructure challenges
