Chelmsford Salary: £40,000 DOE We are looking for a Process Engineer to enhance our Machine Shop operations. This role is suited for an individual with extensive experience in a machine shop environment, particularly with milling and turning processes. Day-to-day of the role:
Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers. Develop innovative solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct process analysis and prepare detailed reports. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.

Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently. Follow industry standards and safety regulations for machining. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a machine shop environment. Expert knowledge of milling and turning processes. Strong understanding of machining and mechanical processes. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software. Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Benefits:
