About the RoleI’m working closely with a highly respected, employee-owned engineering consultancy renowned for delivering innovative and sustainable civil engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors. With a strong local presence and a reputation for excellence on landmark projects, this firm is looking to expand their team in Leeds with an experienced Senior Civil Engineer.
This is a fantastic chance to take ownership of diverse civil engineering projects, including complex mixed-use developments, educational facilities, and healthcare infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for independently managing projects from inception to completion-overseeing client relationships, budgets, and quality assurance. Mentoring junior team members and supporting their professional growth will also form a key part of your role.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team environment, where technical expertise is valued and professional development is actively encouraged.
What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have a solid track record in leading civil engineering projects, with strong organisational skills to develop and manage design programmes and resources efficiently.
Key experience includes:- Conceptual and detailed design of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS)
- Proficiency in Civil 3D for drainage network modelling
- Confidence in engaging with clients, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with bulk earthworks
- Knowledge of flood risk assessments
- Currently pursuing or holding membership in a recognised professional institution (e.g., ICE, CIHT)

Salary: £45000 – £53000/annum
