Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Leeds.

Salary: £40,000 – £49,000 DOE

Shifts:

4 on 4 off – Days & Nights
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.

* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery.

* Maintain and troubleshoot injection moulding machines and associated equipment.

* Work to minimise downtime and improve machinery reliability.

* Carry out fault finding on motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics and pneumatics.

* Support continuous improvement projects across the engineering department.

* Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

* Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.

* Experience maintaining injection moulding machinery is essential.

* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

* Relevant engineering qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC fault finding would be advantageous.

* Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team
