Senior Quantity Surveyor

A Tier 1 leading international, multi-disciplined engineering and construction company providing better engineered solutions to infrastructure sectors including transportation, water, energy and natural resources is looking for a Senior Quantity to join the team in Leeds.

Working on a major rail project in the Leeds area.

• Railway / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Sector background. (Tier1 background desirable)
• Major project experience 80million+
• 5 years + experience in Quantity Surveying
• NEC 3 / NEC 4 Contract experience
• Strong time management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate
• Degree in Quantity Surveying (Desirable)

• Reporting to and Assisting the Commercial Management team on the project.
• Managing commercials of allocated project or packages of work
• Commercial reporting
• Responsible for devising valuations and applications for payment
• Contract Management - NEC
• Sub contractor payments and accounts
• Cost Reporting & Forecasts
• Identification of risks, value engineering and change.
• Management of junior members of staff

Circa £65,000 to £70,000 depending on experience plus benefits package including:
Car allowance of £7,500 or Company Car, Annual Bonus (circa £6,000), A generous 27 days annual leave increasing with length of service, Excellent pension, private health care and more.
