We're working with a well-established and fast-growing UK asset management company to recruit a Senior Client Accountant for their Leeds-based finance team.

This is a key role within a high-performing client finance function, offering a mix of technical accounting, client interaction, and analysis. You'll work closely with internal asset management teams and senior stakeholders while supporting a diverse portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you ll take ownership of client accounting and reporting, ensuring high-quality financial information is delivered accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of management accounts (P&L, balance sheets, reconciliations)
• Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs
• Posting and reviewing journals in line with relevant accounting frameworks
• Reconciliation of income and timely remittance of funds to clients
• Supporting clients and internal teams in interpreting financial information
• Reviewing arrears reporting and escalating issues where required
• Attending regular client calls with multiple stakeholders
• Assisting with year-end audits and responding to auditor queries
• Producing monthly MI and performance analysis, working closely with Asset Management
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting for property portfolios
• Overseeing month-end close processes
• Mentoring and supporting junior client accountants

You'll be a confident, proactive accountant who enjoys ownership and variety, with a strong client-focused mindset.

Essential requirements:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Strong technical accounting background or Audit background
• Excellent Excel skills
• Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholders

• Salary up to £50,000
• Up to 5% annual bonus
• Hybrid working (2 days from home)
