Management Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, North Wales based, niche services organisation as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to join their Finance Team This opportunity is ideal for an experienced and well rounded Management Accountant looking to take on a hands on role with a real opportunity to add value and improve processes Salary/benefits: £40-50,000pa 1 day from home per week

Job Duties:

Monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations Fixed asset registers, calculating and recording monthly depreciation. Monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts with analysis and variance reporting. Analyse financial performance, including variances against budgets and forecasts Cost analysis with commentary Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations, investigating variances Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for submission Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management Recommend improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting Ideal experience Proven experience as a management accountant, financial analyst, or similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting SAP experience ideal but not essential Very strong Excel knowledge Excellent organisational and time management abilities
