SF Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a rapidly growing organisation in the renewable space based in Warwick.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking for an all encompassing role covering a variety of tasks in the finance function, from general ledger to presenting management accounts packs to the board. The ideal Finance Manager will have prior hands‑on experience in a varied role and enjoy seeing the full financial picture. In addition to an excellent opportunity to join a business at the start of its growth journey, you will work closely with the CFO and investors, play a key part in implementing systems and processes, and take a lead role in finance.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting and production of the daily, weekly, and monthly analysis reports
  • Preparation of accurate weekly and monthly Management Accounts
  • Weekly & monthly KPI reporting
  • Managing, reviewing and creating accrual calculations, prepayments, provisions, while managing the general ledger
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and review
  • Monthly VAT accounting and VAT returns
  • Assisting with financial year end and annual audit
  • Supporting the budgeting process and review meetings with departments
  • Preparation and review of other key financial reports as required
  • Support with general ledger tasks such as invoicing and credit control
  • Assisting the Finance Director with providing financial information to the business and completing ad‑hoc financial and business projects
  • Payroll processing
  • Excellent analytical skills – the ability to analyse financial performance
  • All compliance including HMRC, Government, National Statistics
  • Adhoc analysis, contract control and reporting
  • Review and maintain department controls, financial performance and best practice
  • Provide IT support to the wider business (ERP, system implementations)
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Qualified or qualified by experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to present to senior leadership
  • Experience setting up systems and processes

This role offers flexible hybrid working, with an expectation of 2 days a week in the office. Hours can be flexible around commitments.
