We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a growing and supportive finance team based in South Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience who is looking to develop their skills further within a well‑structured environment. You will report into a supportive Finance Director and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the finance function.

• Ownership of the debtors ledger, ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date
• Recording and processing sales invoices
• Managing credit control activities
• Transactional postings across rental accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Purchase invoice processing and payments
• Sales ledger invoices and receipts

• Has experience in a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Credit Control role
• Is confident managing sales ledger and transactional finance processes
• Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Is comfortable working across multiple accounts or entities
• Experience with accounting systems such as Quick Books, Sage, Xero or similar would be advantageous
• Is proactive, reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team

This role would particularly suit someone looking to step into a more rounded finance position with greater ownership and responsibility.
