Tax Accountant

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Tax Accountant to join a leading, forward-thinking business with global reach. This role will take responsibility for all aspects of UK tax compliance, as well as providing valuable tax input on upcoming business projects. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships with HMRC.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit VAT and Corporation Tax returns
• Manage all UK tax compliance requirements in line with legislation
• Act as the main point of contact for HMRC, ensuring positive and proactive relationships
• Support upcoming business projects from a tax perspective, ensuring compliance and efficiency
• Provide tax guidance to the wider finance team and senior management

About You

• Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIOT, or ATT)
• Experience in UK tax compliance, including VAT and Corporation Tax
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to manage internal and external relationships
• Confident working independently and in a fast-paced environment
