We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join our Leeds team as a Reconciliation Accountant.

This role involves supporting various accounting processes such as bank & balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining fixed asset registers, preparing statutory returns for taxes, and conducting control checks to ensure compliance.

Whether experienced or starting your finance career, this role offers exposure to financial processes and growth opportunities.

Our hybrid work model typically involves working 1-2 days in the office, with Wednesdays as a collaborative day for the Financial Reporting team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing the Finance strategy to drive success.
  • Manage monthly and annual financial accounting processes with attention to detail.
  • Handle components of the MPS budget, including bank charges and depreciation.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls for all transactions.
  • Analyze data to support business decisions.
  • Monitor financial risks and issues proactively.

The Ideal Candidate

  • AAT qualification or similar.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Meticulous and accurate.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Strong IT skills:
    Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • (Desirable) Service industry experience.
  • (Desirable) Experience with accounting systems (e.g., CODA).
