Assistant Management Accountant

A superb opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing, fast-moving Leeds-based organisation where finance plays a central role in driving business performance.

As part of a supportive and forward-thinking finance function, you will gain exposure beyond a traditional assistant role and have the opportunity to step up as your experience develops.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end process, while progressively taking ownership of management accounting responsibilities as the role evolves.

• Supporting month-end processes
• Assisting with preparation of management accounts and profit statements
• Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank and control account reconciliations
• Supporting VAT returns and statutory reporting About You
  • Part-Qualified or Finalist ACCA/CIMA (ACA considered)
  • Currently operating as an Assistant Management Accountant and ready to take the next step
  • Strong understanding of core finance processes including sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
  • Analytical with strong Excel capability
  • Confident communicator who can work effectively with stakeholders
  • Highly organised, proactive and motivated to progress
