Financial Control Accountant

We're looking for an enthusiastic and technical finance professional to join growing Group Finance function as a Financial Control Accountant, on an initial 12 month fixed-term-contract basis. You'll play a key role in driving financial success across multiple jurisdictions, and reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you'll gain end-to-end ownership of entity reporting and expand your technical accounting, control, compliance, and tax expertise.

• Prepare statutory financial statements for overseas LLP entities under UK GAAP and local IFRS
• Coordinate and manage audits, liaising with auditors and internal teams
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory accounts adjustments and reconciliations
• Support Germany VAT and tax compliance, including monthly and annual returns
• Drive process improvements and support new system implementations
• Provide information and reconcile local German tax accounts with internal ledgers
• Assist with month-end accounting and regional balance sheet reconciliations

• Qualified accountant (all qualifications considered), ideally with 1+ years PQE
• Experience in statutory accounts preparation and knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communicator, able to build relationships and tailor messaging
• Confident managing workloads and taking responsibility for outputs
