Our client is a leading European Industrials group generating in excess of €30bn of revenue. Established in 2015 as the strategic platform for expanding the Group into the UK market, it has made several acquisitions and grown to be one of the largest independent groups in its sector, with an asset base that covers multiple technologies and a range of revenue streams.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Group Financial Controller is accountable for controllership, IFRS reporting, finance operations and the internal control environment within the Group. The role leads the accounting and finance operations function of the Group and countries, with main responsibilities covering external reporting and accounting, internal control and compliance, finance operations and M&A accounting.

The successful candidate for this Group Financial Controller role will be an ACA qualified accountant, or equivalent, with a strong academic profile and experience gained in a complex financial control role within a high growth, industrials or related group. You will have first class technical skills and be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
