Are you an experienced Portfolio Manager or Development Finance professional looking to play a key role in managing complex residential development loans within a high-performing specialist lender?

We are working with a well-established, award-winning specialist bank with a strong reputation in development finance. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Portfolio Manager to support a growing loan book and work closely with Lending Directors, Relationship Managers, and Credit teams.

This is a highly visible role where you will monitor, manage and add strategic value across a portfolio of development facilities, ensuring projects remain on track and risks are effectively managed.

The Role

You will be responsible for monitoring and managing a portfolio of development loans post-completion, ensuring projects remain on track financially and operationally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring loan performance, cash flow, and project milestones
  • Identifying and escalating risks at an early stage
  • Supporting restructuring, amendments, and extensions where required
  • Conducting site visits and liaising with borrowers and professionals
  • Producing portfolio reporting and analysis
  • Working closely with QSs, Valuers, and construction teams to manage risk

About You

We are keen to speak with professionals who have:

  • Experience in development finance, portfolio management, or credit risk
  • A strong understanding of property development and construction fundamentals
  • Excellent analytical and stakeholder-management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Willingness to travel for site inspections where required
