Financial Controller

Are you a hands‑on Financial Controller who enjoys owning the full financial scope of our business in the EMEA‑AP region? We are looking for a Financial Controller who takes responsibility, works independently, and likes to collaborate closely with both local and international stakeholders.

You report directly to the Finance Director EMEA‑AP and are part of a close‑knit and experienced finance team. You will work together with the local management team. You will be based at our EMEA‑AP headquarter in Gorinchem (the Netherlands).

Monthly salary between €5.000,00 and €6.500,00 based on a 40‑hour work week (depending on your knowledge and experience)

Travel allowance (€0,23 per km)

• End‑to‑end responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for the EMEA‑AP region, including legal entities in:
• United Kingdom (service, sales and logistics)
• Netherlands (manufacturing, sales and service)
• Singapore (sales office)
• Preparation, review, and consolidation of EMEA‑AP financial reporting
• Preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations
• Full accounting ownership for the entities in the EMEA‑AP region, including statutory and management reporting
• Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Cash flow forecasting and liquidity management across EMEA‑AP
• Management of multi‑currency accounting, including FX remeasurement and translation
• Responsible for UK payroll and VAT compliance
• Coordination of statutory accounts and external audits
• Responsible for SOX‑compliant internal controls
• Act as a business partner to country and regional leadership across EMEA‑AP
• Ability to interpret and consistently apply group accounting policies across EMEA‑AP entities

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
• At least 5 years of accounting experience
• Accurate, reliable and accountable
• A hands‑on, result‑driven mindset with strong ownership
• You enjoy working together and communicating with different stakeholders
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Willing to travel occasionally to Leeds, UK
