Our client is a growing integrator serving high-end clients globally. They're looking for a Regional Financial Controller to take full ownership of EMEA financial operations. If you're an experienced financial leader ready to make a real impact across multiple countries, this permanent hybrid role based in Milton Keynes offers genuine scope to influence strategy and drive commercial outcomes.

Position Overview

This is a pivotal role where you'll own all financial aspects of the EMEA region – from profit and loss management to cash flow forecasting and statutory compliance. You'll partner directly with Regional Directors and Business Unit Heads to support key commercial decisions. Your focus will be on building strong financial controls, optimising working capital, and leading process improvements across the region.

You'll also oversee the finance team and shared services function, ensuring standardisation and automation across all EMEA entities.

Responsibilities

Own full P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and statutory compliance for all EMEA entities

Establish strong financial controls, governance frameworks and risk management processes

Partner with Regional Directors and Business Unit Heads on commercial and strategic decisions

Lead regional budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles

Deliver monthly management reporting, variance analysis and performance dashboards

Forecast regional cash flow and optimise working capital management

Lead and develop EMEA finance teams and oversee shared services operations

Drive ERP and finance system initiatives across the region

Standardise, automate and improve finance processes across EMEA

Requirements

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification)

10+ years progressive finance experience including regional or multi-country financial control

Proven track record of owning and delivering financial outcomes

Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence senior stakeholders

Solid understanding of statutory, tax and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions

Experience working in matrix organisations and shared-service environments

Strong ERP experience (Net Suite preferred)

Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills

Prior experience in project-based, construction, engineering or services industries preferred
