Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will provide financial analysis and strategic support to our project delivery teams, focusing on managing and reporting on team and departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse job profitability and report on variances and trends.
  • Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to set budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop team profit and loss reports.
  • Assist with monthly accruals in conjunction with the commercial team.
  • Analyse and review job invoicing and costings to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor working capital trends and drive improvements in receivables and payables.
  • Contribute to system process improvements.
  • Act as a proactive business partner to project and commercial teams.
    • Qualifications
  • Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ICAEW or equivalent experience in finance with exposure to P&L and Balance Sheet reporting.
  • Numerically minded with strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience in SaaS or service-oriented environments is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic team player with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with large data sets.

    • This is a full-time permanent role, 8 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday, based at our Leeds office.
