We are seeking a meticulous Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a reputable organisation in the not-for-profit sector based in Leeds. This role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in managing financial transactions and records.

This opportunity is with a well-established organisation in the not-for-profit sector. As a small-sized team, they are committed to making a positive impact and maintaining high standards in their Accounting & Finance department.

Description
  • Process and record supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Assist with payment runs and resolve supplier queries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update purchase ledger accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Support month-end processes and reporting as required.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve processes.
  • Provide general administrative support related to purchase ledger activities.
Profile
  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and financial systems.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
