A growing and well-established business based in Leeds are looking to add a Transactional Finance Manager to their ever-growing finance and payroll team.
The role itself with see the newly appointed Finance Manager manage and oversee x4 Supervisors in Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Payroll and Credit Control ensuring that all processes and outcomes are worked to and achieved.
The position will report directly into the Financial Controller and will offer the successful candidate a great challenge and the opportunity to work closely with the FC in implementing and driving process and structural improvements across the transactional finance team whilst also offering day to day autonomy to manage and push the full team forward.
Responsibilities- Provide operational leadership and oversight to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Credit Control functions.
- Manage and oversee a team of c12 staff including x4 department Teams Leaders.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day financial operations across multiple portfolio and sites.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all income, expenditure, payroll, and contractual financial activities.
- Support the Financial Controller with operational financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Monitor cash flow performance and working capital management across the organisation.
- Drive and champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery within finance operations.
- Proven experience in a senior finance operations or financial management role
- Previous management experience overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and/or Credit Control functions.
- Experience managing large teams and driving operational performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across several sites or business portfolios.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Previous experience within the care home, healthcare, or social care sector desirable.
