Overview
We are partnering with a renowned global financial services business in Leeds to recruit a Senior Management Accountant / Finance Manager for a newly created role. As Senior Management Accountant/Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the business, working closely with the CFO to integrate financial acumen with commercial insight. This position offers exceptional career progression and the chance to make a lasting impact on the company’s financial strategy.
Responsibilities- Lead the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate reporting and insightful analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior stakeholders.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the group.
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany balances, building effective relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Partner with the CFO to provide commercial insight, identify opportunities for improvement, and support profitability initiatives.
- Support senior leadership with financial evaluation of new business opportunities and strategic growth plans.
- Mentor and support junior members of the finance team, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
- Financial services experience is essential.
- Strong management and financial accounting capabilities.
- The ability to thrive within a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Previous exposure to team leadership, mentoring, or staff development.
- Strong systems and IT skills, including advanced Excel and experience working with ERP systems.
