Role Description

The Regional Lead will initially be instrumental in the development and launch of the product. Thereafter, they will be responsible for origination, structuring and execution of facilities which meet the lending requirements of Allica. In addition to origination, the role will initially carry responsibility for delivering a high-quality relationship and ongoing risk management for a portfolio of cashflow clients

Principal Accountabilities
  • Using knowledge of the market, contribute to the design and delivery of a cashflow funding product that meets the needs of an underserved borrower population.
  • Origination, structuring and execution of new cashflow funding facilities
  • Promoting awareness in the professional services communities regionally.
  • Identification of opportunities which are compatible with Allica’s risk appetite and provide returns in line with requirements.
  • Gathering and analysing financial information which, along with other credit risk considerations, are then presented in an accurate, balanced proposal to Underwriting.
  • Negotiation and agreement of terms with the target business.
  • Oversight of facility documentation and pre-commencement requirements to ensure the transaction is closed efficiently, in accordance with the credit approved terms.
  • Be an advocate for the product with colleagues throughout the bank.
  • Complying with all mandatory policies and develop and adhere to operational procedures to maintain a strong internal control environment.
Personal Attributes & Experience
  • A belief that there is an opportunity to build a significantly improved cashflow lending solution to the target SME market and a desire to innovate through a hands‑on approach.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • An in depth understanding of the SME lending market, specifically non tangibly secured cashflow lending.
  • An established network of potential new business introducers who are active in the SME financing market.
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully originating, structuring and managing facilities of this type in the target segment.
  • Able to interpret detailed financial information including balance sheet and cash forecasting, assess funding requirements and model the impact of sensitivities to such forecasts.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
