Following significant investment in their specialist tax service lines and the opening of a flagship Leeds office, they are now looking to expand their R&D Tax team across the region. Led by experienced senior leadership with a clear national growth strategy, this is an opportunity to join a collaborative, fast‑growing team with genuine opportunities for progression.

new role

As an R&D Tax Manager, you'll be working alongside specialist Partners and technical teams, delivering R&D tax relief claims and advisory services to a diverse client base including owner‑managed businesses, large corporates and innovative SMEs. You will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end R&D claim process, with the opportunity to advise clients on qualifying activities, optimising claims and navigating HMRC enquiries.

Key

responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of R&D clients across a range of sectors
  • Preparing and reviewing R&D tax relief claims and technical reports
  • Liaising directly with clients to identify qualifying expenditure and activities
  • Supporting clients through HMRC enquiries and providing technical guidance
Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in preparing or reviewing R&D tax claims
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK R&D tax legislation and HMRC processes
