Tax Reporting - Assistant Manager,

Overview

Do you want to take ownership of a mid‑market corporate tax portfolio with real client visibility? Do you enjoy reviewing corporation tax computations and tax accounting, with exposure to tax assurance work too? Looking for a role where you can add value beyond compliance and progress quickly?

Our client is a Top 10 accounting and advisory firm with a strong presence in Leeds and an excellent reputation across the UK mid‑market. They support a broad range of owner‑managed businesses, corporate groups and growing organisations, helping them manage tax risk and meet reporting obligations with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and approving corporation tax computations and returns
  • Reviewing tax accounting provisions and corporate tax reporting requirements
  • Undertaking tax assurance reviews where required
  • Managing client relationships across your portfolio and acting as a key point of contact
  • Negotiating fees, raising bills and managing WIP across engagements
  • Identifying tax opportunities and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver solutions
Requirements
  • ACA and/or CTA qualification
  • Strong experience delivering annual corporate tax reporting requirements for a portfolio of clients
  • Broad technical knowledge across corporate tax compliance and reporting
  • Commercial experience managing budgets, WIP and negotiating fees
  • Strong client communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
