Finance Business Partner

Distinct are supporting a growing business that provides solutions across construction, education, healthcare and commercial sectors in their search for a Finance Business Partner.

This is a commercially focused role supporting financial planning, reporting and analysis across the business. You'll work closely with operational stakeholders, providing insight that drives decision-making, improves performance and supports future growth.Key responsibilities include:

• Budgeting and forecasting
• Variance analysis and monthly reporting
• Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
• Identifying risks, trends and opportunities
• Supporting business cases and investment appraisals
• Cost control and margin improvement initiatives
• Process improvement and reporting enhancement

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within finance, FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles and can confidently translate data into meaningful business insight.We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience within finance, FP&A, commercial finance or analytical roles.
• Can analyse complex data and turn it into clear, actionable insight.
• Is confident using Excel and financial systems.
• Is studying towards, or qualified in, ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Can build relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders.
• Has strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and good problem-solving skills.
• Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
