Group Management Accountant

We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established property business based in Leeds city centre to recruit a Group Management Accountant.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a varied and commercially focused position offering broad exposure across financial and management reporting, statutory compliance, group consolidations, and business partnering. The role will also play an important part in supporting and developing a small finance team within a growing organisation.

This represents an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant seeking a broad role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to contribute to the continued growth of a successful property business.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for group entities
• Analysis of performance against budget
• Production of half-year and annual group consolidation packs
• Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Preparation and submission of bank covenant reporting within strict deadlines
• Producing financial analysis and information to support external advisers
• Monthly reconciliation of group intercompany balances
• Preparation of statutory accounts for group entities
• Coordinating the annual audit process

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous experience within a financial accounting or group reporting environment
• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Property sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Commercially minded with the ability to provide meaningful financial insight
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines
