Finance Risk & Control Manager – Thorpe Park, Leeds (Hybrid)

Join us to strengthen and evolve our financial control environment. You will work closely with Finance teams and wider business units to identify and manage risk, ensuring robust controls are in place and consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clear and effective governance framework, supporting audits and ensuring policies are relevant and easy to follow.
  • Identify and manage financial risk and strengthen internal controls across our multi‑entity organization.
  • Support audits, reviews and regulatory requirements, turning insight into actionable reporting.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, challenge where necessary and embed good risk and control practices into everyday decision‑making.
  • Lead, coach and build capability within a finance team.
Qualifications
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA) with solid post‑qualified experience, ideally in financial controllership.
  • 5–7 years of experience in financial risk, internal controls or audit, with a good understanding of COSO and other relevant frameworks.
  • Confident working with accounting and auditing standards, financial systems (e.g., "Oracle") and data/BI principles.
  • Experience operating in complex, multi‑entity or multinational environments, ideally within financial services.
  • Collaborative, organized, analytical thinking, strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Effective communicator and influencer, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and able to lead and build capability.
