Interim Financial Accountant

The Interim Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial operations within this reputable Manufacturing business. This interim role requires a detail-oriented professional to manage accounting processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare and review financial statements in line with regulatory standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
• Reconcile balance sheets and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage VAT reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial queries and provide insights.

• Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills ideally SAP.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Experience in the life Manufacturing industry or a related sector is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
