We are looking for a commercially focused Finance Manager to support our Field Operations function. This is a highly visible business partnering role where you’ll work closely with operational leaders across the network, providing insight, challenge and decision support to improve performance and drive value across the business.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine strategic finance, operational partnering and performance leadership in a fast-paced and evolving environment. With regular travel into the network, you’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders and gain real operational exposure while helping shape financial performance and governance across the function.
What you will do:- Partner closely with Operational Directors and senior stakeholders to drive performance and deliver value
- Support the development of strategic plans, budgets and forecasts across the operational pillar
- Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities, ensuring actions are tracked and embedded
- Deliver impactful reporting, analysis and performance storytelling to support operational decision making
- Lead meaningful performance reviews with clear actions, accountability and follow-through
- Ensure reporting and KPIs are aligned to business drivers and operational priorities
- Coordinate deeper analysis and insight through the Central Operations Finance team
- Drive continuous improvement and more innovative ways of working across Finance
- Support governance and control processes, ensuring robust decision making and financial oversight
- Act as Finance approver and challenger for headcount and operational investment decisions
- Chartered accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Significant finance experience, including strong business partnering exposure
- Experience supporting operational or field-based functions within a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, modelling and financial appraisal skills
- Ability to translate complex financial information into simple, actionable insight
- Confident presenting, influencing and challenging at Director level
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of financial and business risk
- Flexible, agile and able to manage multiple competing priorities
- Collaborative and relationship-focused approach to problem solving
