Interim Senior Management Accountant

This well-established and highly regarded Leeds-based business is currently seeking a Management Accountant to join the team on a 9–12 month contract
.

Working closely with an experienced finance team, you will play a key role in the production and delivery of management accounts, providing valuable insight to support business performance and strategic decision‑making.

• Producing accurate Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow analysis, along with detailed commentary and variance analysis to support month‑end reporting and business decision‑making.
• Reviewing and assessing monthly expenses.
• Posting month‑end and year‑end journals.
• Managing accruals and prepayments.
• Delivering detailed sales analysis and performance reporting.
• Providing ad‑hoc financial analysis and deep‑dive reviews as required.
• Supporting the manufacturing month‑end accounting process.
• Assisting with year‑end statutory accounts and preparing audit packs for the relevant entities.
• Working alongside the Finance Manager to ensure accounting processes and controls remain robust, compliant and effective.
