Accounts Receivable Assistant

Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting a growing organisation in Leeds that is undergoing an exciting period of change and development. Due to increased workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant on a 3-5 month temporary basis.

Your new role

Working as part of a busy finance team, your key responsibilities will include:

Raising sales invoices
Helping with commissioner queries
Allocating incoming payments
Reconciling customer accounts
Chasing outstanding debt and resolving payment queries
Supporting month-end processes
Maintaining accurate financial records and reports

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience within an Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Credit Control role
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficiency with Excel and finance systems
Ability to manage a high-volume workload and work independently
