The firm works with a range of clients from dynamic OMBs to large international groups, and may welcome candidates who have primarily worked in industry or from smaller firms seeking to join a larger practice.
A key focus is the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Be a main point of contact on a portfolio of clients for day-to-day tax matters, working with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers on larger client accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and understand the client’s business.
- Manage tax advisory projects by providing UK corporation tax input and overseeing the delivery of commercially viable and technically excellent advice, including coordinating input from other tax areas and overseas member firms.
- Keep clients up to date with emerging corporate and wider tax developments affecting their business.
- Manage the delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services.
- Supervise junior staff and provide coaching to support their development.
- Assist Partners, Directors and Senior Managers with client account management, ensuring adherence to quality, risk management and financial procedures.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities with clients and targets, actively participating in business development activities with Senior Managers, Directors and Partners.
- Qualified ACA, ICAS or CTA with proven UK corporate tax experience.
- Ability to work on a diverse client base, from mid-sized businesses to large international groups.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to build long-term client relationships.
