My client is looking for a dynamic, motivated individual that is looking to lead the management accounts function whilst also supporting the Financial Controller with strategic decision making for a growing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant looking for a step up and take lead on the end to end management accounts process. Description

Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
Assist with the budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with department leads
Monitor financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business casesProfile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or Finalist
Experience producing full monthly management accounts.
Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
The confidence to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
Open to mentoring or supporting junior finance professionals.
Strong excel skills
Motivated by continuous improvement

Job Offer

Generous salary range £50,000 - £53,000
Fully office-based initially, transitioning to 3 days onsite, 2 days at home after probation.
