Indirect Tax Manager

Your new companyA growing international business is looking to appoint an experienced Indirect Tax Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where indirect tax plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence.Your new role

• Ownership of UK and European VAT compliance
• Review and submission of VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions
• Act as the key VAT advisor to finance and operational teams
• Support cross-border transactions and movement of goods across Europe
• Manage relationships with external advisers and tax authorities
• Lead VAT audits and resolve technical VAT queries
• Identify and implement process, systems and control improvements

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be a qualified tax or accounting professional (CTA, ACA or equivalent) with strong indirect tax experience gained within industry or practice.

You will possess:

• Strong UK VAT knowledge, with European VAT experience highly desirable
• Experience dealing with cross-border transactions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing VAT audits and working with external advisers
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial systems and large data sets
