Finance Assistant

HW Finance are partnering with a well known brand based East of Leeds to hire a Finance Assistant on a 12 month basis (with potential to go permanent).

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day transactional finance activities across the business. You will ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while helping to maintain strong financial controls and supporting the wider finance function.

• Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Managing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving invoice queries.
• Assisting with payment runs and maintaining the purchase ledger.
• Raising customer invoices and processing cash receipts.
• Allocating customer payments and supporting credit control activities where required.
• Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with daily cash management.
• Processing employee expense claims in line with company policy.
