Group Financial Controller

This Group Financial Controller role in Leeds is all about overseeing the financial operations within this business in the Technology industry. You'll make sure everything runs smoothly by managing reporting, compliance, and supporting financial planning to support the business's overall goals.

This business is a technology based business based in Leeds backed by Private Equity. The team is run by an impressive CFO.

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, with a particular focus on Revenue Recognition.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Be a strong communicator and right-hand person to the CFO
• Ensure strong internal controls and risk management practices are in place.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Confidence in providing financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to improving processes and ensuring compliance.

• Salary ranging from £90,000 to £110,000, dependent on the level of experience.
