Pensions Administrator

Location:

Leeds

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Pensions Administrator with knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes? Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your career within a professional and supportive financial services environment?

We are currently recruiting for a Pensions Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a strong understanding of Defined Benefit pensions and benefit calculations.

The Role
  • Administering Defined Benefit pension schemes
  • Processing pension contributions, payments and member transactions
  • Completing accurate pension benefit calculations
  • Processing member records and maintaining accurate information
  • Responding to member and client queries by telephone, email and written correspondence
  • Preparing and checking pension calculations and documentation
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Supporting compliance with pension legislation, processes and regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders to resolve queries
  • Managing your own workload and prioritising tasks effectively
  • Supporting the wider team with general pension administration as required
Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes
  • Experience with pension benefit calculations
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C / Level 4 or above in Maths and English
  • Studying towards or have completed CPC, DPA or CPA
  • Competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work using your own initiative
  • The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes within the workplace
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • A professional, positive and customer-focused approach
