Financial Control Operations Manager

How you'll make a difference You'll provide senior control leadership across Financial Operations, maintaining and developing a robust control framework for payments, regulatory compliance and operational resilience. You will:
Own, maintain and improve the Financial Operations Control Framework across payment, regulatory and operational resilience obligations. Lead regulatory gap analysis and horizon scanning for Financial Operations, including PSRs, EMIR and SFTR requirements. Coordinate key annual compliance activities, including SCA review, Confirmation of Payee attestation, PCI reviews and policy or standards updates. Monitor payment scheme compliance, document impacts and expectations, and communicate requirements to relevant stakeholders.

Own and maintain risk, control and incident records, coordinating critical control testing and recommending improvements where required. Maintain operational resilience and reporting outputs, including FMI playbooks, dashboards, insurance inputs, BCP, BIA, OCIR and KPR updates. What will you bring to the role? Strong working knowledge of the payment's regulatory environment, payment scheme rules and associated risk management practices. Ability to interpret regulatory or scheme requirements and translate them into practical controls, evidence standards, reporting and governance actions Proven track record of building effective relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary.

Strong communication skills - listening, writing, and presenting with clarity and confidence. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail; able to prioritise, multitask, and perform under pressure.
