Unity Resourcing is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and ambitious tax advisory firm in Leeds City Centre to recruit a CTA qualified Senior Tax Consultant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who genuinely loves tax, enjoys solving complex client challenges and wants to develop their career within a specialist advisory practice.
This is a true advisory role with minimal compliance work. You'll be working closely with a diverse client base, delivering bespoke tax advice, managing a team of Graduate Tax Associates, reviewing technical work and playing a key role in the firm's continued growth.
For the right individual, there is a clear and achievable progression path to Associate Director.
Senior Tax Consultant Responsibilities:
 
* Lead and manage a broad range of tax advisory projects from inception through to completion.
 
* Deliver high-quality tax advice that is commercially focused and tailored to client needs.
 
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted adviser.
 
* Manage project budgets, fee estimates, profitability and client expectations.
 
* Prepare fee proposals and scope new projects.
 
* Review technical reports, research and advisory work prepared by Graduate Tax Associates.
 
* Mentor, coach and develop junior members of the team.
 
* Work collaboratively with senior colleagues on complex advisory assignments.
 
* Contribute to business development activities, strategic partnerships and lead generation.
 
* Support marketing initiatives, events, webinars and technical content creation.
 
* Deliver internal training sessions and share knowledge across the wider team.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
 
* Is CTA qualified.
 
* Has a minimum of 2 years' post-qualified tax experience.
 
* Has strong tax advisory experience gained within practice.
 
* Enjoys tackling complex technical tax matters.
 
* Can build credibility and trusted relationships with clients.
 
* Has experience reviewing the work of junior tax professionals.
