FP&A Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially minded FP&A Manager to join a well-established Financial Services organisation based in Leeds City Centre. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in driving the FP&A function, providing meaningful financial insights, supporting business growth initiatives, and helping to shape the company's long-term financial strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality financial analysis to identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities across the business
• Developing and enhancing dashboards and reporting tools to provide clear visibility of key financial and operational metrics
• Supporting the integration of planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for newly acquired businesses
• Producing detailed scenario modelling and financial evaluations to support strategic decision-making
• Driving continuous improvements across financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks
• Building and maintaining training materials for forecasting, planning, and reporting tools, helping to improve financial understanding across the wider business
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight and support key business initiatives
• Contributing to the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles

This role offers significant scope for progression and career development. The current team structure includes responsibility for five direct reports, with further leadership opportunities expected as the organisation evolves.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with a strong background in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering. You will also ideally be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, coupled with the ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business insights.

You will ideally have advanced Excel capabilities and experience using financial and reporting systems such as Power BI, Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, or similar tools. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will be expected to influence and challenge senior leaders across the business while building effective working relationships at all levels.
