We're currently working with a leading global law firm looking for a Financial Crime Advisor to jointheir Compliance function in Leeds

This is a varied advisory role supporting colleagues across the UK, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, while also collaborating closely with the firm's US business.

• Sanctions
• Anti-bribery and corruption
• Fraud prevention
• Anti-money laundering
• Prevention of tax evasion
• Market abuse

You'll act as an escalation point for complex queries, monitor regulatory developments, draft policies and guidance, support risk assessments and contribute to international projects and regulatory change programmes.

• Experience in a financial crime, risk or compliance role within a law firm, financial institution or professional services environment
• Knowledge of at least one financial crime discipline
• Strong research, analytical and policy-drafting skills
• The ability to provide clear, practical and commercially minded advice
• Confidence building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• A curious and adaptable approach, with an interest in developing your expertise across financial crime

A law degree or ICA qualification would be advantageous but isn't essential.
