Senior FP&A Business Partner

Senior FP&A Business Partner Derby | Permanent | £60,000 - £65,000 DOE | Hybrid - 4 days on site An exciting opportunity for a Senior FP&A Business Partner to join an established organisation in a high-impact role, partnering with senior leadership and operational stakeholders to drive strategic and commercial decision-making. This role goes beyond traditional reporting, with responsibility for providing financial insight across planning, investment, performance and long-term sustainability.

Key responsibilities:

Partner with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and constructive challenge Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling Communicate confidently with finance and non-finance individuals at all levels Develop financial models , business cases and sensitivity analysis from scratch Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly performance reporting Identify risks, opportunities and value-creation initiatives Develop and improve KPIs and reporting processes Build financial capability across non-finance teams Support finance transformation, automation and AI initiatives Mentor colleagues and contribute to wider FP&A initiatives

About you:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). QBE can be considered for particularly strong candidates who have the required commercial experience Strong post-qualified experience within FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis skills Advanced Excel capability, including Power Query and modelling

Experience with Power BI and have experience of larger ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Dynamics 365 - essential Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge
