About

The Role As our next Bus Lane enforcement officer, you’ll work flexibly to provide effective support as part of the administrations team within Parking Services. Having the ability to issue Bus Lane Penalty Charge Notices via a bespoke computerised systems
The role is integral to our Parking Services team. Parking services contributes to safer roads Leeds by enforcing parking restrictions in accordance with legislation, in particular the Traffic Management Act 2004 and its associated Regulations. Enforcement of restrictions are carried out in a clear and fair manner and in accordance with legislation.

Job Description Job purpose To assist with the enforcement of Bus Lane & Mobile CCTV (Camera Car). This will include issuing penalty charge notices, printing & preparing the notices to be sent. Responsibilities
  • To monitor the Bus Lane Enforcement cameras and issue Penalty Charge notices to offending vehicles.
  • Operate CCTV equipment and issue Penalty Charge Notices via Mobile CCTV (Camera Car)
  • Any admin work related to Bus Lane & Mobile CCTV enforcement.
  • To develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Parking Restrictions.
  • Ensure that any problems undertaking/completing work is reported.
  • To attend any appropriate training sessions related to the position.
  • Work within the Departmental Safety Policy taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others.
