Healthcare Assistants will provide clinical treatment and holistic care to ambulatory patients referred from primary care and neighbourhood teams. The role requires resilience, motivation, and adaptability, with a passion for wound care and patient-centred support. Staff will work independently in clinic settings, with access to registered clinicians for advice via MS Teams or phone.

• Provide wound care, catheter care, and injections within scope of practice
• Manage patients in clinic settings, following health and safety and risk assessments
• Carry out moving and handling techniques when required
• Complete statutory, mandatory, and in-service training
• Attend clinical supervision regularly
• Manage clinic diaries and provide advice to patients, carers, and administration staff
• Promote patient self-management where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with citywide services (Falls, Continence, Urology, Colorectal Care, Palliative and End of Life Care, and GP services)

• Ability to provide person-centred care

• Experience in wound care or ambulatory clinic settings
